Using and caring for the hob
When the booster function is active, the cook-
ing zone heats up at maximum power for
5 minutes. After this time, the cooking zone
returns to the original heat setting. If the orig-
inal heat setting was "

1. Touch the cooking zone sensor (8) of the
cooking zone for which you would like to
activate the booster function.
The indicator for that cooking zone will
flash.
2. To activate the booster function, swipe
your finger over the cooking zone sensor
all the way to the right until "P" appears
on the display.
3. If you would like to deactivate the booster
function, touch the sensor of the cooking
zone for which you would like to deacti-
vate the booster function.
4. Swipe your finger over the cooking zone
sensor and set the heat level you want.
The booster function is deactivated. The
display shows the set heat level.
Using the mixed zone as one
connected cooking area
The left and right halves of the hob can each
be joined to form a continuous cooking sur-
face, which allows for the use of large pots
or roasters.
This cooking surface, on which you can place
cookware, consists of four induction coils.

If no cookware is placed on a certain sec-
tion of the cooking surface, the section will be
switched off automatically after one minute.
Please observe the correct positioning of the
cookware:
– Always place the cookware in the middle
of the cooking area.
– For oval or rectangular roasting pans,
ensure that they cover the centre of the
cooking area.
– The cookware should cover at least ¾ of
the cooking area.
1. Touch the activation sensor for the left
mixed zone
(17) or for the right mixed
zone

finger over the cooking zone sensor (8)
until the desired heat level is displayed.
Once the cooking zone indicator is con-
stantly lit, the heat level is set.
If the cookware is shifted to another posi-
tion, the hob will recognise the new posi-
tion and continue to heat there at the same
heat level.
3. To place new cookware on the hob dur-
ing the cooking, touch the corresponding
activation sensor for the respective mixed
zone

surface and set the desired heat level.
