Cooking time limits for several
cooking zones
You can set a cooking time limit for all 4 cook-
ing zones. The individual cooking times can
be of different lengths.
The timer indicator always shows the lowest
time set for a cooking zone.
Example: For cooking zone 1, a time of
5 minutes is set; for cooking zone 2, a time
of 20 minutes is set.
Requirement: The hob is switched on.
1. Set the cooking time limit for cooking
zone 1 to 5 minutes (see "Cooking time
limit for one cooking zone" on page
EN-20).
2. Then touch the cooking zone sensor (8)
for cooking zone 2.
3. Set the desired heat level.
4. Set the cooking time limit for cooking
zone 2 to 20 minutes.

The red dot next to the cooking zone indicator
shows that a cooking time limit has been set
for these cooking zones.
A flashing dot means that the timer indicator
is showing the cooking time limit for this cook-
ing zone. For this cooking zone, the lowest
cooking time limit is currently set.
Touching a cooking zone sensor will display
the cooking time limit for the corresponding
cooking zone.

Once the set time has elapsed, cooking zone
1 will switch off automatically and the residual
heat indicator "
" will light up. The red dot will
H
start to flash next to the indicator for cooking
zone 2.
5 1
The timer indicator will now show the remain-
ing time for cooking zone 2.
Once the set time has elapsed, cooking zone
2 will switch off automatically and the residual
heat indicator "
" will light up.

If a kitchen timer and a cooking time
limit are set at the same time, this may
result in the red dot next to the cooking zone
indicator not flashing. In this case, the lowest
time is assigned to the kitchen timer and is
shown accordingly in the timer indicator.
