Before use

Cutting bit set

r Cutting bit 3.18 mm (1/8")
o Cutting bit 6.35 mm (1/4")

Inserting a cutting bit

Press the spindle locking button 6 and hold it

down. The spindle lock must enter into the shaft.
Undo the union nut 5 by turning it anticlock-
♦
wise with the open-ended spanner i.
Release the spindle locking button 6.
♦
♦ Now insert the cutting bit.
This must be inserted to a depth of at least
20 mm.
Press the spindle locking button 6 and hold it
♦
down. The spindle lock must enter into the shaft.
Tighten the union nut 5 using the open-ended
♦
spanner i.
Release the spindle locking button 6.

Connecting the extraction nozzle

Loosen the screw 3. Remove the depth stop 4.
♦
Attach the extraction nozzle t to the appli-
♦
ance in the same way as the depth stop 4.
Retighten the screw 3. You can use the height
of the installed extraction nozzle t to deter-
mine the insertion depth of the cutting bit, as
with the depth stop 4.
♦ Attach an approved dust and sawdust extractor
to the extraction nozzle t.

Changing the collet chuck

Press the spindle locking button 6 and hold it

down. The spindle lock must enter into the shaft.
Undo the union nut 5 by turning it anticlock-
♦
wise with the open-ended spanner i until the
collet chuck z can be removed. The collet
chock 3.18 mm z is inserted inside the collet
chuck 6.35 mm u.
Insert a collet chuck z/u.
♦
ATTENTION! Do not tighten the union nut 5
with the open-ended spanner i unless a cutting
bit is fitted. Otherwise, the collet chuck may be
damaged.
Release the spindle locking button 6.
