6.7 Switching on/off the device

► To switch on the device, depress the on/off switch until it engages.
After the device has been switched on, first the current software version number will be shown on the
display. The main menu will then appear.

► To switch off the device, fully depress the on/off switch and then release it.
After approx. 6 s, the device will switch off and the display and the LED in the on/off switch will disappear.

6.8 Welding programmes

Up to 40 welding programmes (JOBs) can be created and saved in the configuration menu via the
operating panel. These JOBs can be started during operation via the main menu.

The figure shows a graphic representation of the welding process. This begins at the start point with the
speed indicated in the main menu. First, a weld seam is welded (section 1). Then the crater is filled for
a specific amount of time (section 2). Backweld takes place in the connector (section 3), before the device
moves to the start of the next weld seam (section 4). The described process will be repeated until the total
length is covered.
