Insert/replace batteries
– To insert batteries, push back the lid of
the battery compartment and insert the
batteries. Please ensure that the batter-
ies are inserted the right way round (+/-
).
– Use the same method to replace old
batteries.
• Do not use old or different batteries
when replacing batteries. This can
cause faults in the remote control.
• If you do not use the remote control for
several weeks, remove the batteries.
Leaking batteries can cause damage to
the remote control.
• When used normally, the batteries will
last for an average of about 6 months.
• Replace the batteries, if the inner room
device does not answer with a beep or
if the transmission control lamp no
longer shines.

Introduction into operation
– Press the [POWER] button to switch on
the air conditioning device.
Note: If you use the cooling and
dehumidifying functions, observe
an interval of at least 3 minutes
between every activation and
deactivation process.
Cooling mode
– Press the [Mode] key until the sym-
bol [Cool] appears.
– Press the [DOWN] or [UP] key to select
the required room temperature. (16-
31 °C)
– Press the [SPEED] key to select the
wind speed.
Dehumidifying mode
– Press the [Mode] key until the sym-
bol [Dehumidify] appears.
– The selected temperature is automati-
cally set to the current room tempera-
ture minus 2 °C. (16-31 °C)
– The ventilator motor automatically
adjusts to the wind speed [LOW].
Fan mode
– Press the [Mode] key until the sym-
bol [Fan] appears.
– Press the [SPEED] key to select the fan
speed.
Timer mode
• Setting the activation time:
– If the air conditioning device is
switched off, press the [Timer] key
and select the required activation
time using the temperature and time
setting keys.
– The preset activation time is shown
on the control panel.
– The activation time can be set in 0-24
hours at any time.
– To confirm, press the [Timer ] key
again; the timer display shines.
– To deactivate the timer function,
press the [Timer] key until the timer
display goes off.
