Electrical Connection

The electrical connection of the effeff security lock must be carried out in accordance with
the connection diagrams of the units which trigger the lock. Please observe the following
connection diagram of the effeff security lock 809 and the technical data (see page 44).
Furthermore the following specifications must be compared:
•
The nominal voltage of the lock coil must be compared with the output voltage of the unit
which triggers the lock.
•
The current consumption of the coil must be compared with the output of the control unit.
•
The maximum switching power of the monitoring contacts must be compared with the
power which has to be switched.
If the electric security lock is controlled by an alternating voltage output, e.g. in case of an
intercom system, a brigde rectifier must be connected in series.
The installation of the system must comply with the electrical and electricity company regula-
tions applicable in the country of use.
