Failure
(4) The skimmer produces too little foam,
and air noises can be heard.
(5) The skimmer produces foam, but this
foam does not rise to the reaction
tube although the air screw is open.
(6) The skimmer produces no foam.
Cause
(a) The water level is too high.
(a) The water level is too low.
(b) The aquarium has been set up lately.
(a) The pump is not operational or soiled.
(b) The air ducts are blocked.
Remedy
(a) After a modification of the
inhabitants or decoration, the water
level has risen distinctly in the
aquarium A corresponding volume
of water should be removed from the
tank.

(Osmolator).

tank. Dark foam is produced only, if
enough skimmable material is
present in the water.
