Annual maintenance
The entire system has to be serviced at least once
a year. In case of failures, premature maintenance
is required - see maintenance instructions in the
respective instructions for use.
During the servicing period, filtration may not be
possible, which, however, is no risk for the inhabitants,
if not exceeded by more than one hour.
- Remove the skimmer cup and the filter bell; stop the
pumps and the Osmolator; and remove the Comline
Reefpack from the tank.
- Dismount the filter pump and service (1).
- Clean and check the Osmolator sensors - for this
purpose, please refer to the chapter titled „The
sensors - switching point and maintenance" in the
instructions for use of the Osmolator.
- Clean the skimmer nozzle and the impeller housing
of the skimmer (2); for further cleaning instructions,
please refer to the instructions for use of the
Automatic Skimmer.
- If a calcium dispenser has been fitted, use diluted
vinegar to clean the reactor and the non-return
valve. Subsequently flush with clear water.
- Flush the storage container with clear water.
Mount the various components again; start the
system, and top up with water, if and when necessary.
Watch for density variations caused by fresh water
added during the cleaning process.
Entretien annuel
Nous conseillons de réaliser un entretien complet de
l'installation par an. Lors d'un disfonctionnement, cet
entretien pourrait intervenir plus tôt. Voir les notices
d'utilisation des différents appareillages.
Durant cette intervention d'une heure, l'aquarium est
privé de sa filtration ce qui ne devrait pas présenter
de risques pour les animaux.
- déposez le godet d'écumeur et la cloche de filtration.
Débranchez les pompes et l'Osmolator puis retirez
entièrement Comline Reefpack 500 de l'aquarium
- déposez la pompe de filtration et procédez à son
entretien (1)
- nettoyez et contrôlez les capteurs de l'Osmolator,
voir notice d'Osmolator : Les capteurs, point de
fonctionnement
- nettoyez la buse d'injection et la turbine de l'écumeur
(2). Pour d'autres interventions, voir notice
ecumeurs automatiques
- en cas d'utilisation de Calcium Dispenser, nettoyez
le réacteur et son clapet anti-retour au vinaigre puis
rincez le tout à l'eau claire
Remontez les différents composants puis démarrez
l'installation en rajoutant de l'eau le cas échéant.
Veuillez éviter toutes variations de densité par apport
d'eau douce lors du nettoyage.
