4.2 Explanation of the application range
The tool is hand helded and it is not supposed to be re-
strained in a vise. It is not allowed to use the tool in a
stationary application.
The tool is not designed for continued operations. After
a sequence of approximately 150-200 completed cycles
you have to make a break of 15 min. to give the tool time
to cool down.

Too intensive use can cause heat damages for
the tool

During the operation of electric engines
sparks can occur which might ignite highly
infl ammable or explosive liquids and ma-
terials.
Attention
Electric-hydraulic tools should not be ope-
rated in pouring rain or under water.
4.3 Mounting instructions
Attention
Only those punches and anvils should be used
which are suitable for the material and sheet
thickness.
Attention
Do not use the last rivet on the belt. Disregar-
ding this warning can result in damaging the
belt feed mechanism because a minimum of 2
rivets are necessary to transport/position the
rivet properly.
4.4 Service and maintenance instruction
For every day service the tool has to be cleaned and dried
after each use. The battery cartridge and the charging unit
have to be protected against humidity and dust.
Attention
Maintain power tools thoroughly. Check for
functionality or jamming of moving parts,
breakage of parts and any other condition that
may aff ect the power tools operation.
This unit is basically maintenance-free, only the belt feed
device has to be oiled regularly.

4.4.1 Service
The tool is equipped with a controller enabling the user to
see when the next service is due by fl ashing for 20 sec.
at the end of a working cycle. When the next service is
due after 10.000 cycles the unit must be returned to an
authorised service center. Failure to observe this request
results in loosing the Warranty. Preventive maintenance
serves your safety. .

Do not damage the seals of the tool

Have the power tool repaired by a qualifi ed
expert before use.
4.4.2 Cleaning
Where the tool is used in a environment containing adhe-
sives etc. a method of completely removing such subs-
tances should be employed when cleaning parts. We de-
fer responsibilty to the customer for the choice and safe
use of the solvents or other substances.

Ensure that cleaning materials do not dama-
ge rivet guide strips.
Attention
Do not degrease the inside of the shaft.
Attention
Ensure that there is no debris in the cylin-
der area. Metal chips can damage the cylinder
walls and result in leakages.
Attention
Do not cycle tool without rivets and mate-
rial!
Attention
Clean the threads of the riveting head and
cylinder area before the assembly/change of the
head.
