4.2 Explanation of the application range
The tool is hand helded and it is not supposed to be restrai-
ned in a vise. It is not allowed to use the tool in a stationary
application.
The tool is not designed for continued operations. After a
sequence of approximately 150-200 completed cycles you
have to make a break of 15 min. to give the tool time to
cool down.

Only those punches and dies should be used which
are suitable for the material and sheet thickness.

Do not use the last rivet on the belt. Disregarding
this warning can result in damaging the belt feed
mechanism because a minimum of 2 rivets are ne-
cessary to transport/position the rivet properly

4.4 Service and maintenance instruction
For every day service the tool has to be cleaned and dried
after each use. The battery cartridge and the charging unit
have to be protected against humidity and dust.
Maintain power tools thoroughly. Check for func-
tionality or jamming of moving parts, breakage of
parts and any other condition that may aff ect the
power tools operation.
This unit is basically maintenance-free, only the belt feed
device has to be oiled regularly.
4.4.1 Service
The tool is equipped with a controller enabling the user to
see when the next service is due by fl ashing for 20 sec. at
the end of a working cycle. When the next service is due
after 10.000 cycles the unit must be returned to an autho-
rised service center. Failure to observe this request results
in loosing the Warranty. Preventive maintenance serves
your safety.
Do not damage the seals of the tool
Have the power tool repaired by a qualifi ed expert
before use.
4.4.2 Cleaning
Where the tool is used in a environment containing adhesi-
ves etc. a method of completey removing such substances
should be employed when cleaning parts. We defer res-
ponsibilty to the customer for the choice and safe use of the
solvents or other substances.
Ensure that cleaning materials do not damage rivet
guide strips.
Do not degrease the inside of the shaft.
Ensure that there is no debris in the cylinder area.
Metal chips can damage the cylinder walls and re-
sult in leakages.
