Troubleshooting table

Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.

Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective appliance yourself. You can put your own and future
users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to carry out this repair
work.
Problem
The fan does not run
permanently
The display shows 'SAB' The oven is now in Sabbath mode. For more information see
The oven light is defec-

The external cooling fan
does not run permanent-
ly.
External cooling fan
keeps running.
The external cooling fan
is not working; no air re-
leased from the air locks
and Cover is very hot.
Possible solutions/tips
This is not a malfunction. If you have selected a heating method with
fan operation, this will ensure the heat is evenly spread around the
oven interior. It will switch itself on and off for this purpose.

Replace the defective halogen bulb for the oven lighting (see "Chang-
ing the oven lights" on page EN-22). Notice: Defective bulbs do not fall
under our warranty.
This is not a malfunction. The fan will switch on and off during the
cooking process as required.
No error. The external cooling fan will run for a while to cool off the
inside of the oven and then shut off automatically.
Switch on the oven light only – if there is no fan noise and air is be-
ing released, the fan is defective.
CAUTION
Risk of burns!
■ In such an event, immediately open the oven door, switch
off the appliance, and stop using the cooker! Contact our
Service Centre (see "Service" on page EN-28).
