Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can put
your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to
carry out this repair work.
Problem
Oven is not functioning
Temperature indicator does
not flash any more.
Oven lighting has gone out.
External cooling fan is not
working (no air outlet under
the panel, panel gets very
hot).
Possible solutions/tips
Power supply has been interrupted; check the fuse for the
oven in the fuse box in your home.
If the oven does not have its own circuit, check the functions
of the grounded socket with other appliances.
WARNING
If it is unclear as to whether the appliance is defective
or there is no power supply, there is the risk of electric
shock.
■ In case of doubt, it is crucial that you inform our Ser-
vice department.
■ Never repair the appliance yourself.
The oven temperature has been reached.
Check that the appliance is still working (see above). Replace
the bulb as described in section "Replacing the light bulb in
the cooking compartment" on page EN-31.
Notice: Defective oven light bulbs do not fall under our
warranty.
CAUTION
Fire hazard!
If the external cooling fan is broken, the appliance can
quickly overheat, which can cause significant damage
to the appliance and set fire to any other nearby flam-
mable objects.
■ Immediately switch off the appliance, open the oven
door and stop using the cooker.
■ Contact our Service department.
