edge of the utility sink .

the mains
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
The appliance operates with dangerous
voltages.
■ Do not put into operation if the
mains cord is faulty or the appliance
displays other visible damage.
■ Never connect the appliance via a
multi-socket or an extension cord.
• Plug the mains plug into a properly in-
stalled and earthed electric socket that
has been sufficiently secured (220–
240 V~, 50 Hz, 10 A) .

Before first use

1 . After moving and installation, let the appli-

ance stand upright for 2 hours .
2 . Then clean the drum's interior using a soft
cloth .
3 . Place a few clean dry cloths into the drum .
4 . Press the On/Off button (1) .
The display will illuminate .
5 . Select the "Airing" cycle using the cycle
selector (4) .
6 . Press the Start/Pause button (2) to begin
the cycle .
7 . After the cycle is complete, follow the in-
structions in chapter "Cleaning and main-
tenance" on page EN-19 .
The compressor will make some noise when
it is in operation . This is perfectly normal .
