Cleaning the bottom filter

The bottom filter (7) is designed to protect the
heat exchanger . Lint accumulated in the filter
can block air circulation and increase both the
energy consumption and the drying duration
required . The bottom filter must be cleaned
after every fifth drying cycle or if the cycle is
extended .

1 . Disconnect the mains plug from the sock-
et .
2 . Push down the locking clips (16) and
open the cover for the bottom filter (6) .

3 . Open the three locking levers (17) .
Cleaning and maintenance
4 . Remove the bottom filter and remove the
accumulated lint .
You can also clean the bottom filter under
running water .
5 . Dry the bottom filter thoroughly after-
wards .
6 . Clean the rubber seals on both the bottom
filter and the handle .
7 . Insert the bottom filter back into the ap-
pliance .
8 . Close the three locking levers .
9 . Close the cover for the bottom filter .
