6.2 Pairing the electronic control unit
with the radio remote control
The remote control and the control unit are paired in the
factory�
If the control unit or the remote control is replaced, they
must be paired again�
The drive rollers must not be engaged
Check that the battery is properly connected and in
good condition, and that the control unit is being
supplied with 12 V�
Make sure that the caravan plug is plugged into the
safety socket�
Read the following instructions beforehand, as
you only have limited time for pairing (approx� 10
seconds)�
 You will need a pen, a small screwdriver or a similar
item to press the reset button (Fig. 36-1)�

Check the manoeuvring
system's battery� Charge or
replace battery if necessary�
Check tyre pressure and ad-
just if necessary�
Check tread and replace tyres
if necessary�
Disengage the manoeuvring
system and measure the
gap between the tyres and
drive roller� The gap must be
20 mm�

Switch off the remote control with the slide switch
on the side� (see Kapitel 4.5.1)
After switching on the control unit (e�g� with the bat-
tery cut-off switch), wait (approx� 15 seconds) until
the red LED (Fig. 36-2) starts flashing slowly�
Press and hold the reset button (Fig. 36-1) on the
control unit� Wait until the LED (Fig. 36-2) flashes
very quickly�
Press and hold the left ENGAGE button
remote control�
Switch on the remote control with the slide switch
on the side while doing so�
Release the left ENGAGE button
Once the appliances are paired, the red LED (Fig. 36-2)
on the control unit and the
control light up continously�
If pairing was unsuccessful, the red LED (Fig. 36-2)
flashes and you have to repeat the process�
