3.1

Authorized use

The device (VZ-H-UNI-KV) is only designed for the paving and transporting of one precast kerb stone, granite
kerb stone, slab, L-shaped retaining wall, wall element, natural stone block in connection to any carrier (e.g.
hydraulic excavator, wheel loader) or "Probst Installation Machine" (e.g. VM-301, VM-X).
A hydraulic circuit of the carrier is necessary for the operation of the device (VZ-H-UNI-KV).

Standard grippers are replaced with special rock grippers VZ-H-UNI-FG (41600160) for installation of
wall elements, rocks and boulders.
•
multifunctional gripping adapter VZ-H-UNI-RG (41600176) for accurate installation of up to 6 grass
pavers (according to the size of layer) in one go.
SPECIAL FEATURE: adapter can be reversed - thus bulky and large-seized slabs are installed by steel
finger grippers
•
Optional rubber grippers VZ-H-UNI-GBL (41600151) with larger inside height.
ATTENTION: The use of this device is only permitted in proximity to the ground (→ chapter "Safety at
work" and "Explanation of basic concepts").
Only stone elements with parallel and plane surface are allowed to be picked-up and handled.
Because the gripping good could fall down.

The device is only designed for the use specified in this documentation.
•
Every other use is not authorized and is forbidden!
•
All relevant safety regulations, corresponding legal regulations, especially regulations of the declaration
of conformity, and additional local health and safety regulations must be observed.
Prior to every operation the user must ensure that:

The equipment is suited to the intended operation
•
the functioning and the working condition of the equipment is examined
•
the load is suitable to be handled.
Any doubts about instructions should be raised with the manufacturer prior to use.
