8. Subnetwork bus topology
EOL termination: When WTC-LEX/-BEX
expansion modules and room devices are
installed with a WTC controller, only the last
device (expansion module or room device) is
set to ON. All other expansion modules and
room devices must have their EOL
terminations set to OFF.
9. Device addressing
Each device on the subnet is identified with a
subnet address. The WTC-LEX/-BEX
expansion module connected to a
controller's Subnet Port must be set to a
unique subnet ID address. The address is set
through the DIP switch located next to the
Subnet Port connectors.

By leaving the Subnet ID address DIP switch
at 0 (factory default), WTC-LEX and
WTC-BEX room device sets its own Subnet
ID address according to its model type
(no configuration is necessary).

* This Subnet ID is assigned automatically when the DIP
Switch is set to 0.
IMPORTANT: If you connect a second expansion
module of the same type, you must set manually
one of the expansion modules to another unused
Subnet ID address.
Three different Subnet ID codifications are
used on the WTC subnetwork:
1 for Room Control Interfaces

1 for Infrared Multi-Sensors
■
1 for WTC Lighting / Sunblind expansion
■

Consequently, the same Subnet ID can be
assigned to WTC-LEX/-BEX (Lighting /
Sunblind expansion modules), WTC-ISP/-
ISPL (Infrared Multi-Sensor), WTC-RT
(Room Temperature sensor), or WTC-RCI
series (Room Control Interfaces) without
any addressing issue.
