– D o not insert the mains plug until
all preparations for working with the
appliance are complete.
– While operating the appliance, never
reach into the bowl or filling shaft.
– D o not operate the appliance without
the cover in place.
– A l ways wait for the drive to come to a
standstill before moving the swivel arm
or changing tools.
– F o r safety reasons, always fit the
protective drive covers on the front and
rear drive.
I m portant:
– P r epare the base unit as described
under "P r eparation ".
– T h e appliance cannot be switched on
unless the bowl has been inserted
correctly.
N o te: T h e function "T I M E "
automatically with every use, counts the
ongoing processing duration and indicates
this on the display.

1. Depending on the processing task,
select the professional flexible beating
whisk, professional stirring whisk
or kneading hook X "T o ols" see
page 2 9 .
Insert the tool into the main
drive until it locks into place. The drive is
then covered by the protective cap.
2. Put the ingredients to be processed in
the bowl.
3. Press the release button and push the
swivel arm down until it locks into place.

4 . P l ug the mains plug into the mains.
"O p tiM U M " appears on the display.
5 . S e t the rotary switch to the required
setting ( X "R e commended speeds"
see page 2 9 ) . "
TIME " appears on
the display and the elapsed processing
duration is displayed in minutes and
seconds.
Note: If the duration is 60 minutes or more,
hours are also displayed: "1:01:30 " .
6. Process the ingredients until you
achieve the required result.
7. Turn the rotary switch to
u n t i l t h e d r i v e c o m e s t o a s t a n d s t i l l .

10. Press both eject buttons until the tool is
released. Take the tool out of the drive.
11. Take the cover off the drive.
12. Clean all parts immediately after use.
