ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

The spas are only provided in three-phase version (electric heater or heat exchanger
- OPTIONAL).
Five conductors are required (3 phases+neutral+earth) for the 380-415 V versions.
The conductor sections must still consider not only the system absorption, but also the
cable paths and distances, the chosen protection systems and the specific standards
for fixed electrical systems.
ATTENTION: The installer is responsible for choosing the conductors with rated
section and features suitable for the specific current absorption of the spa,
including any accessories (See CONNECTION DIAGRAM).
The cable path, the choice of materials and the most suitable installation solutions
are entrusted to the professionalism and experience of the installer; he/she is
responsible for ensuring and certifying the performed installation.
To ensure the degree of protection against water jets, provided
by the standards, a cable gland was fitted on the electrical box to facilitate connection
with the electric network, regardless of the section of the conductors used.
The installer must use a sheath with appropriate features, as well as water-tight fittings
in the junction points and ensure compliance with the specific engineering standards.
AVOIDING THE RISK OF ELECTROCUTION
Risk of electrocution
• The spa must be permanently connected to the electricity supply. The spa must
be connected to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). Manufacturer does not
supply a GFCI with the spa. Manufacturer recommends the GFCI be attached to the
end of the spa's electrical cord. The GFCI must be installed be a licensed, qualified
electrical. GFCI devices must meet or exceed all national and local electrical codes.
WARNING:
• To reduce the risk of electrical shock, replace a damaged cord immediately. Failure
to do so may result in death or serious personal injury due to electrocution.
• Always test the Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) before each use of the spa.
If the GFCI does not perform properly, a ground current is flowing indication the
