FERMENTATION PROCESS
PARTS LIST/INSTALLATION
1 – Kettle
3 – Safety latches
10 – Kettle lid
13 – Fermenting coil
Release the safety latches and compression couplings of the kettle (3,
24) to install the fermentation process components.
Insert the fermenting coil stub (13) aligned with the connection plug (17). Place
the assembly in the receptacle on the kettle lid (10).
APPLIANE OPERATION
Place the material charge to be processed in the kettle (1). Secure by closing
the kettle lid (10) with the fermenting coil (13) installed. Install the safety latch
(3) and secure it in the locked position.
Fill ½ of the fermenting coil (13) with water. Secure by installing the
plug (16).
In this process, the fermenting coil is to scavenge the produced
carbon dioxide (CO2) away.
Monitor the process temperature. The correct range is 20-30
temperature can be monitored with the dedicated temperature gauge (19)
placed on the kettle's externall wall. The light area of the gauge shows the
actual temperature in the kettle.
Place the appliance on a heating unit (a gas burner, an electric
cooker, an induction cooker, or another source of heat capable of
maintaining proper operation of this appliance) and start heating the charge.
Once no CO2 bubbles are visible inside the fermenting coil, the charge
is ready for distillation.
