3.2. Preparations for operation

POSITIONING THE APPLIANCE
Position the appliance where good air circulation is ensured. Maintain a minimum
clearance of 10 cm from all sides of the appliance. Keep the appliance away from
any hot surfaces. Always operate the appliance on a level, firm, clean, fireproof, and
dry surface and out of the reach of children and individuals with reduced mental,
sensory and intellectual capacities. Position the appliance where the mains plug can
be reached at any time. Make sure that the mains power ratings match the data on
the rating plate!
Before the first use, remove all accessories and wash them clean along with the
entire appliance.

3.3. Operating the appliance

CAUTION! Before operating this appliance make sure that all components
are complete and match the specifications! Contact the supplier if any
deviations are found!
CAUTION! Do not obstruct the distillate gaseous phase flow! Risk of
accidents!
Before preparing the material charge, it is recommended to first install the process-
relevant components. The design of this appliance and suitable accessories enable
fermentation (E), distillation (F), or storage (G) of the process material.
