Commissioning

9.1. Technician menu

The sauna control unit home.com4 has a technician menu separate from
the main menu, in which all the basic settings can be made.
The technician menu is only available in English.
To access the technician menu, perform the following steps:
1. Switch off the sauna control unit.
2. Hold down rotary selector 1 and switch on the sauna control unit with main
switch 2.
► The display shows the technician menu with the available menu items.
Menu navigation
To navigate through the menu, use rotary selector 1.
● Turn the rotary selector to the right to scroll down the menu.
● Turn rotary selector to the left to scroll up in the menu.
● To select a menu item, press the rotary selector.
► The setting of the respective menu item is highlighted in green and can
now be changed.
● Turn down or up to see the available setting options.
► To confirm the selection, press the rotary selector.

EN 60335-2-53 specifies a maximum heating time limit of 6 hours for
private saunas. For saunas in hotels, apartment blocks and similar
locations, a maximum heating time limit of 12 hours is permissible.
Extending the heating period limit to 18 hours or 24 hours is only per-
mitted in public saunas.
