The steps required to optimise the operation of your fryer are shown below, with all the available options.

Description of the controls

5.2.2

Burner ignition

•
Pilot ignition:
o
Turn the Mt thermostat control clockwise to the pilot position
indicating that the pilot is ready to be lit (above figure).
o
Next press the solenoid valve control Mv, while turning it anticlockwise to the pilot position
. Hold the control pressed in this position until the pilot flame remains lit (approximately 20
seconds) (above figure).

Burner ignition:
o
Pressing the solenoid valve control Mv, turn it to the Burner ignition position, leaving it ready
to light the burners.
o
To ignite the burners, press and turn the thermostat Mt knob (Fig. 6) clockwise until the
required position. At this moment the L2 lamp will light, indicating that the burners are
functioning.
o
When the oil in the tub reaches the selected temperature, the burners will turn off by means
of the thermostat (lamp L2 turns off). Also, as soon as the temperature drops below the
selected value, the burners will light up (switching on the L2 lamp).

Turn the Mv control to the position Pilot

Turn the Mv valve control to the Off position .

Turn the Mt thermostat control to the Off position .

Oil drainage

The oil should be filtered regularly, in order to preserve it better.
Allow the appliance to cool for 10-15 min before filtering the oil, so that the oil cools.
Condensed water at the bottom of the vat should be drained daily. To do so, open the drainage valve and
drain until oil is obtained.

5.3 Useful tips

Read the useful tips listed below carefully in order to get the most out of your fryer.
5.3.1

Initial cleaning

After installing the appliance and before filling the tub with oil, it is important to clean the tub.
The baskets and the grille should be removed for the first clean. Then, fill the tub with water with detergent,
leaving it to boil for a few minutes.
Next, empty the tub and rinse it as many times as necessary, to eliminate the remains of soap.
