1. Start by drawing a vertical
guide line on the wall using a
pencil.
It is best to use a spirit level for
this.
2. Mark out the drill holes.
The upper drill hole must be
at least 102 cm above the
ground; the distance between
the drill holes should be
10.2 cm.
3. Drill holes at the marked
points, using a diameter that
can accommodate the wall
plugs.
4. Place the wall plugs into the
holes.
5. Attach the wall bracket to the
wall using the two screws.

Charging the battery

Completely charge the battery for
the first time. The battery usually
takes 4 to 5 hours to charge. To
improve the battery's life, let it
fully discharge during use. In oth-
er words, use the device until it
stops running.
Charge the battery every three
months to prevent deep dis-
charging. Do this even if you do
not need to use the appliance
during this time.
1. Insert the power adapter
plug (12) into the charging
port (5) for the charging cable
on the battery.
2. Connect the mains plug to a
properly installed socket with
earthing contact.
The battery operating light (4)
turns red.
3. Once the battery is charged
(when the operating light is
green), remove the plug of the
power adapter (12) from the
charging port (5) for the charg-
ing cable.

1. Insert the battery (6) onto the
handle of the appliance.
Make sure that the guide
rails (21) on the appliance
slide into the guide rails (22)
on the battery (6).
