Error Numbers
The BIS C-600 always outputs an error number. The meaning of these error numbers is
indicated in the following table.
No. Error Description Effect
1 No data carrier present Telegram aborted,
processor goes into ground state.
2 Read error Read telegram aborted,
processor goes into ground state.
3 Read aborted, since the Processor goes into ground state.

head may not be connected. If both read/write heads are
selected, the cable break message only comes if there is
no data carrier in front of the connected, functional head.
