Remove chips, but do not deburr drillhole.
If necessary, repeat the above procedure until the holes
for all the required pipes and cables have been made.
Insert seal for pipe penetration.
Grease the inside of the seal.
Bevel the pipe.
Insert the pipe by at least 5 cm.
4.5 Insert the pump(s) and level measurement
CAUTION
Pumps with piping are heavy and can be difficult to
handle.
Use a crane or lifting gear to lower the pump into
the tank. Get a second person to help by secur-
ing the load.
Wear/use suitable personal protective equip-
ment.
Do not carry/lift the pump by the connection
cable.
Do not undo pump fixings (between pump handle and
pressure pipe). Unwanted lever effects can occur on the
pressure pipe connection, which causes damage to the
piping.
Unwind the connection cable and place it ready, next to
the tank.
Lower the pump, slowly and carefully, into the suspension
bracket.
The self-weight of the pump ensures friction lock fitting.
