6.1.1.

Engine oil change

The engine oil change will take place every 100 hours of operation, as described in the engine manual.
Because of its design, the process is performed with a drain hose, following the individual steps listed
below:
• Let it the engine warm up (ca. 5 min.).
• Decommission the power generating set.
• Remove the engine shaft, therefore loosen the 2 screws beneath the carrying handles..
• Provide a suitable container to catch the used oil beneath the oil drain plug.
• Remove the oil drain plug including the washer and allow the used oil to drain completely.
To fasten the process remove the dipstick.
• Reinstall the oil drain plug and a new washer, and tighten the oil drain plug securely.
• With the engine in a level position, fill with the recommended oil to the upper limit mark (bot-
tom edge of the oil fill hole) on the dipstick. The capacity is approximately 1,1 Litre.
