2. Fill the water tank to the "max" mark in
the opening.
3. Wipe away any rinse aid which has spilt
immediately so that you don't compro-
mise the rinsing results and to avoid in-
creased foaming.
4. Close the rinse aid dispenser cover again.
Changing rinse aid setting
We would recommend that you do not change
the dosage that was set by the factory initially.
If the dishes are
– matt and stained after cleaning, increase
the dose.
– sticky and streaky, you should decrease
the dose.
Quickly take the following steps, otherwise
interrupt the process from (see "Water hard-
ness" on page EN-32).
1. Switch on the appliance using the
ton (18).
2. Press the P button (13) for 5 seconds
within 60 seconds of switching on.
3. Push the
button (12) to switch to set-
ting mode.
The
indicator (5) will flash. The current
value (d1 to d5) will illuminate on the dis-
play (10).
4. Select the desired dose using the P but-
ton (13): from d1 (low) to d5 (high).
5. The appliance will save the setting after
5 seconds, and the display will return to
the original indicator.

Adding dishwasher salt

NOTICE
Risk of damage!
You may damage the dishwasher and
its stainless steel surface, its seals and
fi lters by using dishwasher salt in an im-
proper manner.
Only use dishwasher salt which is suit-
able for dishwashers.
Always wipe away split dishwasher
salt immediately with a damp cloth.
Immediately after adding the dish-
washer salt, launch a dishwashing
programme.
You do not need to add dishwasher
salt to the dishwasher salt dispenser
– if you are only using multitabs which al-
ready contain dishwasher salt,
– if the water hardness in your area is in the
0–5° dH range.
