Injury to surrounding blood vessels and
soft tissue!
Damage to the product or to the activ L
DANGER
disk prosthesis!
To protect the blood vessels, always
also use a retractor when using this
product.
Always insert the product in the two
drill holes at the right-hand side of
the prosthesis.
Damage to the product caused by actua-
tion of locking lever 3!
To release lock 2, slightly compress
CAUTION
handle parts 1 and actuate locking
lever 3.
Applying the activ L distractor fork revision instru-
ment

Insert pins 4 of the activ L distraction forceps revi-
sion instrument in the holes at the right-hand side
of the implant.
Spread open the activ L distraction forceps revision
instrument as required, by compressing the handle
parts 1.
Note
Lock 2 engages automatically when handle parts 1 are
released.
