8. You may y copy py and distribute the Prog g ram (or a work based on it, under Section 2) in

The source code for a work means the p p referred form of the work for making g

as a sp p ecial excep p tion, the source code distributed need not include any y thing g that

(comp p iler, kernel, and so on) of the op p erating g sy y stem on which the executable runs,
unless that comp p onent itself accomp p anies the executable.
If distribution of executable or obj j ect code is made by y offering g access to copy
desig g nated p p lace, then offering g eq q uivalent access to copy
same p p lace counts as distribution of the source code, even thoug g h third p p arties are not
comp p elled to copy py the source along g with the obj j ect code.
