Cleaning/replacing the
hygiene filter
WARNING

Improper use of the appli-
ance may lead to serious inju-
ry or death.
■ Before cleaning or chang-
ing the hygiene fi lter, al-
ways pull the mains plug
out of the socket.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in damage.
■ Only use the appliance with
the fi lters installed.
■ Never dry hygiene fi lters on
a heater or with a hairdryer
or tumble dryer, etc. It will
become porous and can be
damaged.
■ Never wash the hygiene fi l-
ter in a washing machine or
dishwasher.
■ Only let the hygiene fi lter
air-dry.
The hygiene filter should be
cleaned every time the dust bag
is changed.
If odours cannot be removed by
cleaning or the filter is too heavily
soiled, it must be replaced.
1. Pull the mains plug (12) out of
the socket.
2. Press the PULL spring (33)
upwards and remove the filter
cover (13).
3. Pull the hygiene filter (34) out.
4. Rinse the hygiene filter with
clean water only or shake it
out, and/or clean it with com-
pressed air. Never use deter-
gent or washing-up liquid to
clean the hygiene filter.
