Cleaning/changing the
hygiene filter
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in damage.
■ Only use the appliance with
the fi lters installed.
■ Never dry hygiene fi lters on
a heater or with a hairdryer
or tumble dryer, etc. It will
become porous and may no
longer be useable.
■ Never wash the hygiene fi l-
ter in a washing machine.
■ Let the hygiene fi lter air-dry
only.
The hygiene filter (30) should be
cleaned every time the dust bag is
changed.
If odours cannot be removed by
cleaning or the hygiene filter (30)
is too heavily soiled, it must be
replaced.
1. Pull the mains plug (12) out of
the socket.

2. Slide the lock (28) sideways
and carefully remove the filter
cover (29).
3. Pull out the hygiene filter (30).
4. Rinse the hygiene filter (30)
only with clean water, tap it out
and/or clean it with compres-
sed air. Never use detergent or
washing-up liquid to clean the
hygiene filter (30).
5. Allow the hygiene filter to
dry (30) completely.
6. Reinsert the hygiene filter (30)
and the filter cover.
