Cleaning/replacing the
motor protection filter
WARNING

Improper use of the appli-
ance may lead to serious inju-

■ Always pull the mains plug
out of the socket prior to
changing or cleaning the
motor protection fi lter.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in damage.
■ Correct functioning of the
vacuum cleaner can only
be guaranteed if suitable
fi lters are used.
■ Never vacuum without fi l-
ters or with damaged fi lters.
The vacuumed dust would
penetrate the appliance
and damage the motor.
■ Do not wash the fi lter in a
washing machine or a dish-
washer.
The motor protection filter should
be replaced every time a new
pack of dust bags is opened.
1. Pull the mains plug (12) out
of the socket.
2. Use the handle (7) to lift the
appliance and position it up-
right.

3. Press the release button (6)
and open the dust bag con-
tainer.

4. Pull the dust bag by the card-
board tab downwards out of
the dust bag holder (30).
