6 Initial activation

Note the following when activating
smoke alarm devices:
(1) Push the splint pin sideways off of
activation button.
(2) Push activation button flush.

You can stop an alarm with or without
fire.
If there is still a risk of fire after
an alarm stop, the switched-off
devices ring again after 10
minutes.
You can stop the alarm directly on
the device:
