are closed air-tightly. Always remove the lid, before warming up the
container. Ensure that the container material will endure the tempe-
rature you wish to apply (refer to the instructions given by the manuf-
acturer). In general, do not let containers come in direct contact with
sources of high heat (e.g. fire, range, or oven). Avoid freezing pure
water in containers, because they may crack or burst, even when
evacuated.
