Changes to the Unit

Changes, additions to or conversion of the unit are not permitted without written permission from the

manufacturer.
It is also not permitted to install additional components that have not been tested together with the unit.
l
If it becomes clear that the safe operation of the unit is no longer possible, for example because of damage to the housing,
l
turn the unit off immediately.
Any parts of the unit or accessories that are not in perfect condition must be exchanged immediately.
l
Only use original spare parts and accessories from the manufacturer.
l
Markings made on the unit at the factory must not be altered, removed, or made illegible.
l
Only the settings described in these instructions may be set using the unit.
l
Changes to the unit can compromise the safety and functionality of the unit or the entire system.

Intended use

The components listed in the following instructions are intended for use in heating systems according to DIN EN 12828. The heat-
ing system controllers and associated peripherals may only be used to control thermal systems. The use must be in compliance
with all specifications described. The heating system controller may only be installed and set up by a specialist. The installation
technician must have read and understood the instructions. The installation technician will explain all relevant functions to the
operator. The housing must be intact and closed for operation.

Warranty and Liability

The unit has been manufactured and tested with regard to high quality and safety requirements. However the warranty and liab-
ility shall not include, any injury to persons or material damage that is attributable to one or more of the following causes:
Failure to comply with these installation and operating instructions.

Improper installation, commissioning, maintenance and operation.
l
Improperly executed repairs.
l
Non-compliance with the section 'Changes to the Unit'.
l
Use of the device for any other purpose than its intended purpose.
l
Operation above or below the limit listed in the 'Specifications'.
l
Force majeure.
l

Disposal and Pollutants

The unit conforms to the European RoHS 2011/65/EU for the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical
and electronic equipment.
Under no circumstances may the device be disposed of in the normal household waste. Dispose of the unit only at
appropriate collection points or ship it back to the seller or manufacturer.
