Arrange the snow chain
neatly in front of the wheel.
Lead the coloured end
piece aroundbehind the
driven wheel. Fasten both
ring ends and place high
on the tyre tread.
ACHTUNG: Betätigen Sie die automatische Spann-
vorrichtung erst nachdem Sie das farbige Seilendstück
der Spannvorrichtung eingehakt haben, wie es in der
Abbildung zu sehen ist.

Spannvorrichtung unten greifen und
Hebel vom Gehäuse der Spann-
vorrichtung anheben, bis der End-
anschlag hörbar einrastet (Position
OPEN). Spannvorrichtung greifen
und Stahlseil vollständig herauszie-
hen, das dann eingehängt werden
kann. Das Ende des Stahlseils in
den farbigen Haken einhaken. Die
unten montierte Spann-vorrichtung
greifen und den Hebel drücken, bis
der ndanschlag hörbar einrastet
(Position GO). Auf diese Weise wird
das Stahlseil automatisch gespannt.
Danach langsam anfahren. Ein
Nachspannen ist nicht erforderlich.
FITTING 4
Hold the lower tensioning device
and raise the lever from the tensio-
ning device casing until it clicks into
place (OPEN position). Grasp the
tensioning device and completely
extract the cable, which is thus
ready to be hooked up.
Attach the end fitting of the rope
to the flat hook. Grasp the tensio-
ning device located in the bottom
and push the lever until it clicks
into position (GO position):in this
way the cable will automatically
self-tighten.
