Maintenance and Cleaning

Deposits on the sensor optics may result in in-
accurate measurements. Therefore, the
sensor must be cleaned at regular intervals.
These intervals are specific to each
installation and must be determined during
operation.
Clean the optics with the following agents,
depending on the type of soiling:
Type of soiling Cleaning agent
Limestone Short treatment with a
deposits commercial deliming
agent
Oily and greasy Cleaning agents based
soiling on water-soluble
surfactants
(e.g. houshold dish
detergents)
Other soiling Remove with water and
a brush
Warning:
Do not touch the optics with sharp
edged objects or allow the optics to
become scratched.
