Safety notices

Read and follow the following safety notices before using the product in order to guarantee personal safety.

Personnel qualification

à Operators may only operate and use the windows if they have been instructed accordingly.
à Only experts and qualified personnel who are authorised by GEZE may carry out installation, electrical connec-
tion, commissioning, functional testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, decommissioning and disassembly.
Operator
à The operator is responsible for safe operation of the window unit.
à The product has not been designed to be used by people, including to and including, who have restricted
physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by
a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions from that person, as to how the product is
to be used.
Do not allow children to play with permanently mounted regulation and control equipment.

Keep remote control units (e.g. the control unit via PC tablet in the case of building control) out of the reach of

children.
4.2 Safe use
Operator
Observe the conditions for operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, decommissioning and servicing prescribed

by GEZE.
Have a service technician authorised by GEZE check safe operation of the window unit at regular intervals.

Do not make any changes to the window unit without prior agreement from GEZE.
X
Always have maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, decommissioning and disassembly done by experts
X
authorised by GEZE.
Only allow a qualified electrician to set up the connection to the 24V supply voltage.

User
Read and follow all the specifications related to use of the window unit.

Do not perform any work which is only prescribed for qualified personnel, experts and service technicians

authorised by GEZE.

Residual risks

Injuries caused by impact, crushing and pinching!
Make sure there are no body parts (hands, fingers) in the closing area of the leaf when using the window unit.
