9.4.2 Emergency-opening of the window
Have the drive disconnected from the 24V

supply voltage.
Remove the upper side cap (1).
X
Following a power failure the position of the
spindle can be undefined.
Use an Allen key (size 5) to turn the Allen
X
screw (2) of the spindle clockwise up to the
blockage (to end stop).
The spindle now has a defined position.
Now the unlocking position has been reached.
Make sure that the window is locked correctly.

Fit the side cap (1) again.
X
Have the drive connected to the 24V supply voltage again.
X
When the drive is supplied with power again, the window remains in the open position and is not locked.
The drive determines its position and calibrates itself. The window is not moved during this.
10 Decommissioning
The following work may only be carried out by instructed operators, experts and by service technicians authorised
by GEZE.
Move the window unit to the "closed" and "locked" position.

De-energise the drive system or disconnect it from the 24V supply voltage.
X
Secure the drive system against reconnection and check isolation from the power supply.
X
Secure the window unit against triggering (e.g. by means of a sign reading "Out of operation").
X
11 Disassembly
The following work may only be carried out by instructed operators, experts and by service technicians authorised
by GEZE.

Electric shock due to live drive system parts!
Before disassembly the drive system, interrupt the power supply, secure it against reconnection and check

isolation from the power supply.
Disassembly is carried out like installation but in reverse order.
