Unplug the telephone at the
mains before cleaning.
Caution!
Telephone may be damaged by
electrostatic charging or penetration of
liquids!
Use a slightly moistened cloth only or
an anti-static cloth.
Ensure that no liquids penetrate the
equipment.
Wipe the telephone down regularly with
a slightly moistened cloth or an anti-
static cloth.

Telephone Maintenance

If a handset comes into contact with liquid,
please proceed as follows:
Remove the batteries from the handset
immediately.
Allow the liquid to drain from the
handset.
Dry all the parts of the handset with a
gentle and careful dabbing motion.
Lay the handset down on its keypad
with the battery compartment open for
at least 72 hours in a warm and dry
place.
Do not replace the batteries in the
handset until it is completely dry.
If the handset does not work properly
contact the customer service
department.
