Query calls

You can interrupt a call in order to
telephone a second person. Proceed as
follows:
Press the QUERY CALL button during
the call.
Dial the relevant external telephone
number or
dial the internal telephone number (see
page 21).
Conduct the telephone call with the
second person.
While you are telephoning the second
person you will remain connected to the
first person.
To end the call with the second person
press the HANG UP button.

Using the call-waiting function

The "Call waiting" function beeps to
indicate if another call is coming in to your
extension during a telephone call. You can
then decide whether to continue, interrupt
or end the first call.
You need to have requested this
function from your network provider.

Enabling and disabling the call-waiting
function
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Set BS" menu.
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Call waiting" sub-menu.
Press the MENU key.
Select the required option.
Press the MENU key.
You will hear a message announcing
confirmation. The selected option is ticked.
Press the HANG UP button.
Taking a second call during an internal
call
If you hear the call-waiting signal during
an internal call, proceed as follows:
Press the HANG UP button.
The internal call will be interrupted.
To accept an external call press the
PICK UP button.

Ignoring the second call

To continue the first call and ignore the
second call, press the MENU key during
the call.
Select the "Ignore call waiting" sub-
menu.
Press the MENU key.
Depending on the settings on your
telephone, the second caller will now be
transferred to another extension or will
hear an engaged tone.
