Setting the ring tone

You can select the ring tone.
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Set handset" menu.
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Ring tone" sub-menu.
Press the MENU key.
You can now choose between six
melodies.
Use the NAVIGATION button to select
your preferred melody.
The chosen melody is indicated by the " "
symbol. You will then hear the selected
melody.
Press the MENU key to confirm the
setting.

Setting the ring tone volume

You can choose between five volume
settings for the ring tone. The factory
setting is the loudest level 5.
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Set handset" menu.
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Ring volume" sub-menu.
Press the MENU key.
Use the NAVIGATION button to select
the required volume.
Press the MENU key to confirm the
setting.

Setting the audible signals

The audible signals draw your attention to
various pieces of information:
• The battery is low.
• You have pressed a button.
• The handset is out of the base station
range.
You can enable and disable these signals
as follows:
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Set handset" menu.
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Tones" sub-menu.
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Battery alarm" option in
order to enable or disable the battery-
low warning signal.
Select the "Range" option in order to
enable or disable the out-of-range
warning signal.
Select the "Button signals" option in
order to enable or disable the button
actuation confirmation signal.
The option currently selected is ticked in
the display.
To change the setting press the
NAVIGATION button.
Press the MENU key to accept the
change.
