Inserting the Wedges
To acchieve optimum results,
the included heel wedges
should be used with the
LowStride BQ.MX6 with dynamic heel
spring. The wedges make it possible to
adjust the flexibility of the spring, and
to define the relation of forefoot and
back foot lever.
The LowStride BQ.MX6 is delivered with
2 wedges of different thicknesses.
First, insert the higher wedge (purple)
into the heel. The wedge has to be
inserted completely, so its tip touches
both the heel spring and the calf shank.
To prevent it from becoming loose during
the fitting in the workshop, attach the
wedge to the top calf shank, e.g. with a
piece of PVA adhesive tape.
Ask the user to test-walk the foot. If the
user feels the heel is too rigid (and/or

the relation of heel to forefoot lever too
imbalanced), remove the wedge and
replace it with the thinner wedge (red).
Once the right the wedge has been
determined, it has to be glued in place.
Caution!
on the top side of the wedge, since gluing
the bottom side of the wedge would
result in noise emission. We recommend
only applying the glue along the lateral
edges of the top side of the wedge.
