• Application/Adjustment
We recommend executing the follow-
ing steps of the application process
in the order suggested below.
Alignment
Follow the basic alignment instructions
below:
• Consider the intended heel height of
the prosthesis.
• Consider the stump position and the
prosthetic alignment resulting from it.
• Generally, 2-4° flexion are recommen-
ded for the socket when MakStride
Feet are used. However, the user's
individual requirements for the
prosthetic alignment have to be
taken into consideration.

• The Recommended Alignment Referen-
ce Line should run through the center
of the pyramid. Allow for a 10mm heel.

The Dynamic Design of
MakStride Feet
The special build of the MakStride Calf
Shank (not BQ.MX6) makes it possible
that the energy which is stored upon heel
strike can be purposefully released again
during the gait cycle. Users get maximum
support from the MakStride Foot during
all stages of the gait cycle.
For the user to fully benefit from all of the
assets of the MakStride design, we recom-
mend making the following adaptations of
the foot during the dynamic fitting.
