3. Einbau der Archiv-Speichererweiterung
– Netzstecker ziehen.
– Archivplatte ausbauen.
– EEPROM (28C256) in den dafür vorgesehenen IC-Sockel "IC7015"
stecken. Kerbe beachten!
– Gerät zusammenbauen.
– Gerät am Netz anschließen.
– Initialisierung der Speichererweiterung:
• Auf dem Fernbediengeber die Taste
erscheint " CODE – – – – ").

4. Wichtige Masseverbindungen!
Beim Zusammenbau des Gerätes ist darauf zu achten, daß die
Masseverbindungen zwischen Gehäuseboden und Chassisplatte,
Gehäuseboden und Netzteilbaustein, sowie Gehäuseboden und Ge-
häuseoberteil gewährleistet sind.
5. Wichtige Abschirmung!
Beim Zusammenbau des Gerätes ist darauf zu achten, daß die
Abschirmung zwischen dem Laufwerk und der S-VHS-Platte mit dem
Gummidämpfer fixiert ist.
6. Durchführen von Messungen
Bei Messungen mit dem Oszilloskop an Halbleitern sollten Sie nur
Tastköpfe mit 10:1 - Teiler verwenden. Außerdem ist zu beachten, daß
nach vorheriger Messung mit AC-Kopplung, der Koppelkondensator
des Oszilloskops aufgeladen sein kann. Durch die Entladung über das
Meßobjekt können diese Bauteile beschädigt werden.
7. Meßwerte und Oszillogramme
Bei den in den Schaltplänen und Oszillogrammen angegebenen
Meßwerten handelt es sich um Näherungswerte!

3. Fitting the Archives Memory Expansion
– Disconnect the mains plug.
– Remove the Archives Board.
– Insert the EEPROM (28C256) into the IC-base "IC7015" provided
for it. Take care of the notch!
– Reassemble the recorder.
– Connect the recorder to the mains.
– Initialisation of the Memory Expansion:

4. WARNING: Chassis connections!
When re-assembling the machine it is essential to observe that the
chassis connections between the cabinet bottom and Family Board,
cabinet bottom and Power Supply Board, cabinet bottom and cabinet
upper part are in good order.
5. Important Shielding!
When re-assembling the VCR do not fail to fasten the metal screen
between the drive mechanism and the S-VHS board with the rubber
damper.
6. Carrying out Measurements
When making measurements on semi-conductors with an oscillo-
scope, ensure that the test probe is set to 10:1 dividing factor. Further,
please note that, if the previous measurement is made on AC input, the
coupling capacitor in the oscilloscope will be charged. Discharge via
the item being checked can damage components.
7. Measured Values and Oscillograms
The measured values given in the circuit diagrams and oscillograms
are approximates!
