2.6 Chassisplatte – Standard-Ton /
Audio Linear (AL)
Funktionsübersicht
Die bei Aufnahme vom FM-Ton-Schaltungsteil aufbereiteten NF-
Signale gelangen im Standard-Ton-Schaltungsteil zum Aufnahmeein-
gang des IC7220-(11). Das ausgewählte NF-Signal wird im Standard-
Ton-Schaltungsteil für die Längspuraufzeichnung aufbereitet.
Bei Wiedergabe wird das NF-Signal vom AW-Kopf abgenommen,
verstärkt und dem FM-Ton-Schaltungsteil zugeführt.
Die Umschaltung auf die entsprechenden Betriebszustände erfolgt
entsprechend der folgenden Tabelle:

2.6.1 Aufnahme
Vom FM-Ton-Schaltungsteil gelangt das ausgewählte NF-Signal über
IC7220-(11) und einer Aussteuerungsautomatik (ALC-Automatic Level
Control) an einen linearen Verstärker (LINE). Das NF-Signal erreicht
über IC7220-(13), C2236, R3286 sowie IC7220-(14) den integrierten
Aufnahme-Entzerrerverstärker (REC). An Pin 17 verläßt es den IC7220.
Das NF-Signal wird am Knotenpunkt R3326 / R3330 zum Aufsprech-
strom addiert und anschließend über Steckerkontakt 1503-(1) dem
AW-Kopf zugeführt. Das andere Ende des AW-Kopfes liegt über
1503-(3) und IC7220-(2) an Masse. Die Vormagnetisierungs-Span-
nung ist mit R3330 (BIAS) einstellbar.
Für die Funktion "LP" wird die Umschaltung der Aufnahme-Entzerrung
mit den Schaltern EP CTL und LP CTL im IC7220 durchgeführt.
2.6.2 Löschoszillatoren
Der Oszillator für den Hauptlöschkopf besteht aus dem Transistor
T7208 und dem Resonanzkreis F1060 / C2257. Die Ansteuerung des
Oszillators erfolgt über den Schaltpegel U WR-AL -3 vom Schie-
beregister IC7250-(4) und die folgenden Transistoren T7206 / T7204.
Der Oszillator für den Tonlöschkopf besteht aus dem Transistor T7240
und dem Resonanzkreis F1065 / C2267. Von diesem wird auch die
Vormagnetisierungspannung (BIAS) abgeleitet. Die Ansteuerung des
Tonlöschoszillators erfolgt über den Schaltpegel U WR-AL -2 vom
Schieberegister IC7250-(7) und die folgenden Transistoren T7244 /
T7242.
Bei Aufnahme wird der Tonlöschkopf und der Hauptlöschkopf ange-
steuert, bei Nachvertonung nur der Tonlöschkopf.
2.6.3 Wiedergabe
Bei Wiedergabe erhält der AW-Kopf über IC7220-(1) und Steckerkon-
takt 1503-(1) Massepotential. Das vom AW-Kopf abgetastete NF-
Signal gelangt über 1503-(3) an IC7220-(6), -(2). Es durchläuft im
IC7220 den integrierten Wiedergabeentzerrer (PB), wird über
IC7220-(8) und den Pegeleinsteller für Wiedergabe R3272 (LL) dem
IC7220-(9) zugeführt. Anschließend wird es in einem linearen Verstär-
ker (LINE) verstärkt. An Pin 13 verläßt das NF-Signal den IC7220.
Nach dem Kondensator C2236 wird es dem FM-Ton-Schaltungsteil
zur weiteren Verarbeitung zugeführt.
Bei "LP"-Wiedergabe bewirken die Schalter EP CTL und LP CTL die
Entzerrungs-Umschaltung.
2.6.4 Stummschaltung
Der Mute-Befehl vom Schieberegister IC7250-(13) dient dazu, die
Tonausgänge des IC7220 bei allen Funktionen, außer Wiedergabe
und Aufnahme, sowie bei Servofehlern stummzuschalten. Dazu erhält
der IC7220 über Pin 22 den Befehl U MUTE-AL . Mit dem Befehl
U FRESH vom Schieberegister IC7250-(14) wird über T7230 zusätz-
lich der Speicher-Elko C2242 des Pegelreglers (ALC-Automatic Level
Control) entladen. Bei manueller Aussteuerung ist dieser Befehl HIGH
und somit der Pegelregler nicht aktiv.

Function Overview
On record, the AF signals processed in the FM sound circuit stage are
fed into the standard sound circuit stage to the record input IC7220-(11).
The selected AF signal is processed in the standard sound circuit stage
for longitudinal track recording.
On playback, the AF signal obtained from the R/P-head is amplified
and then fed to the FM sound circuit stage.
The individual operating modes are switched over as shown in the
table below:

2.6.1 Record
From the FM sound circuit stage, the selected AF signal is fed via
IC7220-(11) and an automatic level control stage (ALC) to a linear
amplifier (LINE). The AF signal is taken from IC7220-(13) via C2236,
R3286 and IC7220-(14) to the integrated record equalising amplifier
(REC). It leaves the IC7220 on pin 17. The AF signal is added to the
record bias current at the junction R3326 / R3330 and passes via the
plug contact 1503-(1) to the R/P-head. The other end of the R/P-head
is connected to chassis by 1503-(3) and IC7220-(2). The record bias
voltage is adjustable with R3330 (BIAS).
For the "LP" function, switchover of the record equalising circuit is
carried out by the switches EP CTL and LP CTL in IC7220.
2.6.2 Erase Oscillators
The oscillator for the full-track erase head consists of the transistor
T7208 and the resonant circuit F1060 / C2257. The oscillator is
operated by the switching voltage U WR-AL -3 from the shift register
IC7250-(4) and the transistors T7206 / T7204 which follow.
The oscillator for the sound erase head consists of the transistor T7240
and the resonant circuit F1065 / C2267. From this oscillator also the
bias voltage (BIAS) is derived. The sound erase head is operated by
the switching voltage U WR-AL -2 from the shift register IC7250-(7)
and the transistors T7244 / T4242 which follow.
On recording, both the sound erase head and the full-track erase head
are activated but only the sound erase head in dubbing mode.
2.6.3 Playback
On playback the R/P-head is connected to chassis via IC7220-(1) and
the plug contact 1503-(1). The AF signal picked up by the R/P-head is
fed via 1503-(3) to IC7220-(6), -(2). The signal passes in IC7220
through an integrated playback equalising stage (PB) and is then fed
via IC7220-(8) and the level control for playback R3272 (LL) to IC7220
pin 9. Afterwards it is amplified in a linear amplifier (LINE). The AF
signal leaves the IC7220 from pin 13. After the capacitor C2236 the AF
signal is fed to the FM sound circuit stage for further processing.
On "LP" mode, switchover of the equalising circuit is carried out by the
switches EP CTL and LP CTL.
2.6.4 Muting Circuit
The mute command from the shift register IC7250-(13) mutes the
audio outputs of IC7220 in all functions, with the exception of playback
and record, and also in the case of servo faults. For this, the IC7220
obtains the command U MUTE-AL via pin 22. In addition, with the
command U FRESH from the shift register IC7250-(14), the electro-
lytic storage capacitor C2242, which is part of the level control circuit
(ALC - Automatic Level Control), is discharged via T7230. On manual
level control, this command is HIGH and as a result, the level control
is not active.
