3.8.7 Sleep mode
The ACTIVY Media Server 150 supports Sleep Mode, which turns off the harddrive
and the cooling fan temporarily, if there had not been any access to the device for a
certain amount of time. To set up the timeout after which the Sleep Mode will be
entered, click on the drop down list to specify a time and click "Apply" to execute.
Note:
When the harddrive is in sleep mode, it may take a few seconds to spin
up, after accessing files on the device again.
3.8.8 System Shut Down
To turn off the device, click on the shutdown button. The device will turn off
automatically.
You can also shut down the device by pressing the power button for more than 2
seconds.

3.8.9 Load Firmware extensions
After formatting the internal harddrive and after upgrading the basic firmware, it is
necessary to re-install the Firmware Extensions. This part of the firmware contains
some of the ACTIVY Media Server 150 modules like for example File download, AV
server. Firmware extensions are included in the file "FSC_231.tgz"
To install the file,
1. Insert the included CD or locate the file received with a firmware update and
click the "Browse" button.
2. Select your CD-Rom drive. Double click on the "Firmware" folder. Select the
"FSC_231.tgz" file and click "Open" to browse the file. Or locate the file
received with a firmware update.
3. Click "Apply" to perform installation.
Note:
It takes a few seconds to perform installation, please wait until installation
has been completed.
Do not install the firmware extension from an local connected USB or
eSATA device.
