INTERNAL BATTERY REMOVAL.
INFORMATION FOR ORBEA DEALERS
The installation and replacement of the electric
system components requires an advanced tech-
nical knowledge and may therefore be beyong the
skills of most users.
Always take your bicycle to an authorized dealer
for the diagnosis, repair and installation of the
electric system components.
Damage to the components derived from inco-
rrect installation may void the warranty on such
components.

TECHNICAL MANUAL
Orbea recommends that only authorized dealers perform
the removal and/or replacement of the internal battery
from Rise. This process requires to remove and install im-
portant components of the bicyle an the electric system. If
you need to remove the internal battery for transportation,
always take your bicycle to an authorized dealer to avoid
damaging the components and ensure their correct and
safe removal and installation.
1. Remove the cranks and the chainring from the EP8 RS
motor.
2. Remove the motor protector.
4. Hold the motor to avoid damaging the connections and
disconnect the motor power cable and the speed sensor
and display cables.

5. With the battery inside the frame, remove the battery
