7.9.5 Tips
Only heat the amount of milk that you intend to use;
once heated, the milk will have to be completely
poured out of the jug and cannot be reheated;
The steam wand guarantees a correspondence of
± 3°C between the set temperature and the real
temperature of the milk, only if the starting milk
temperature is 4°C;
Since the steam stops dispensing when the set milk
temperature is reached, in order to prevent the milk
froth from spilling out, do not fill the jug more than
half way with liquid;
Use a suitably-sized container for the amount of milk
that requires frothing.

Put the suction tube in the milk;
Place the jug under the spout of the
cappuccino maker;
Open the steam valve, when the de-
sired amount has been obtained,
close the steam valve;
Pour the frothed milk into the cups
with the coffee.
To have hot non-frothed milk, lift the cappuccino maker flap
upwards.
For better results, we suggest that you do not dispense directly
into the coffee cup, but into a jug or pot, and then pour the frothed
milk on top the coffee.
Make sure the cappuccino maker is kept clean at all times as
described in the "Cleaning" chapter.

For safety reasons it is advisable not to place cloths or other
objects on the cup warmer shelf in order to prevent the machine
from overheating.
To change the temperature of the cup warmer, proceed as
described in para 7.13.4 on page 64.
